Waccamaw Sailing Club Facilities
Founded in 1970, the Waccamaw Sailing Club is the hub of the lake’s sailing activities. Facilities include:

  • Two ramps for launching shallow draft boats, camping facilities, cruiser moorings, a pier, a sandy beach and swim area, a kitchen, shower rooms, decks, and a large pavilion.
  • Club races are held on the last Saturday of each month.
  • Facilities are available to host regattas with camping available for regatta sailors. Past classes hosted here include: Tanzer 16, Lightning, Isotope, and San Juan 21.
  • Waccamaw Sailing Club is a member club of the US Sailing Association & SAYRA.
